I joined the Friday Addition team in 2014, and I’m excited to share my love of writing with the 5th and 6th grade students.
I received a B.S. in Communications from the University of Tennessee in 1990, and I worked in marketing, advertising, and public relations in Knoxville, Tennessee, for several years before moving to West Michigan in 1998. In 2001, I founded Excellence & Etiquette, a speaking and writing business through which I have trained adult and youth audiences in churches, community organizations, and area corporations on topics of manners, hospitality, relationships, and customer service. I have published numerous newspaper and magazine articles, as well as submissions in various compilation books, including Chicken Soup for the Bride’s Soul and The Art of Helping.
I sing with the Holland Chorale, participate in a monthly book discussion group, and enjoy reading, home decorating, traveling, tea parties, and all things Jane Austen.
