Art Class
I joined the FA team in 2013. My focus of study at Grand Valley was the arts and psychology. I moved around a bit as a youth and young adult but have lived in Hudsonville since 2007 and consider it home. I live there with Tim, my husband since 2002, and our three beautiful boys, Liam, Kohen, and Judah (born 2006, 2008, and 2012 respectively). As a family, we love to camp, be outside, play games, travel, and serve in our community.
I came to Christ as an adult, at 25 years old. I truly believe that God has gifted each of us with a way to convey His powerful story. It is only since I have connected my artistic gifts with my desire to share the gospel and my testimony that I have created my best work and made the deepest relationships. I have experienced this in a concentrated way every summer during EGM arts camp where I have been part of the planning board, taught classes, spoke on a camp theme to the group, and created a curriculum for them since 2006. I also have served on several community planning boards, serve in children’s ministries, and taught art classes to all ages.
I am excited to have the opportunity to train up the next generation of storytellers at FA. “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14b
