Amy Schaap joined the FA board in 2021. She and her husband, Derek, have been married since 2011 and have 4 children, Kaeden (2013), Kylee (2014), Kendyl (2016), and Kowen (2017). Amy has a Master’s in Education Administration from Liberty University and worked for a few local Christian schools before staying home to have all her babies. She is now homeschooling her own kids, and they are excited to be a part of the FA family.

The Schaap Family lives in West Olive and owns a local family business in Holland. They enjoy time with family and friends boating, traveling, hunting, and exploring God’s beautiful creation. They especially enjoy entertaining and often host a house full of extra people on any given day!
