My name is Kris Burghgraef, and I am excited to be joining the FA team as the 5th-7th grade Writing/Literature teacher this year! I graduated from Calvin College with a BA in Education and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction. My experience teaching spans 20+ years over all grades, but my favorite group to work with is middle school. My experience with writing includes five published books--a 6th one is in progress. When I am not teaching or writing, I enjoy traveling to different countries and learning about different cultures, cooking and baking, playing board games with my family, and working in my garden.
