My name is Nikki Balili, and I was born and raised in the Philippines. I am a former chemistry professor at a state university in the Philippines and I have taught undergraduate and graduate-level chemistry courses after obtaining my PhD degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. I eventually resigned from my teaching position when my family and I had to move around the world for my husband’s job (we lived in England for a couple of years, then went back home to the Philippines, then moved back to the US in 2015). We have resided in Holland, MI since 2019 after my husband accepted an offer from a local company. We enjoy living in Holland and we hope to stay indefinitely! 

 

My husband, Ryan, and I are blessed with three wonderful kids, Noah, Luke, and Ella, who are all FA students. When I am not homeschooling, I spend most of my free time woodworking, doing DIY renovations projects in my house, cooking, baking, gardening, and crafting. 

 

I have always loved teaching and I am so grateful that the Lord has given me this opportunity to teach at FA!
