¡Hola!  My name is Amanda Brouwer and I am excited to teach Spanish 1 and 2 at First Addition.  As I have learned Spanish, God has taught me more about Himself, His creation, and our global Church family.  I’m excited to share that passion and excitement with FA students.  

 

I graduated from Calvin College in 2003 with a BA in K-12 Spanish education and began teaching Spanish at Holland Christian.  I completed my Masters in Spanish language and culture at the University of Salamanca in Spain in 2009.  In 2012, I stepped away from full time teaching to stay home with our children.  Since 2012, I have been teaching Spanish for Holland Christian’s homeschool connection and I have been teaching High School Spanish for FA since 2021. 

 

My husband, Jeff, and I have been married since 2007 and we live in Holland.  We have two children, Adrian (born in 2011) and Evelyn (born in 2014) who are enrolled in the Spanish Immersion Program at Zeeland Christian School.  As a family we love being outdoors, riding bikes, and traveling to new places to explore God’s creation.
