My name is Sandy Dodd. I live in Grand Haven with my husband, Mark, and 2 children. As a family, we enjoy playing board games, going for walks and bike rides, hanging out at the parks, watching and playing baseball, and are heavily involved in our church’s children and youth ministries. On my own time, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, and gardening.
About me: I attended Pensacola Christian College where I studied Business Administration andCulinary Arts. I also studied Psychology and Biblical Counseling through Liberty University’s online program. I never thought about teaching or homeschooling. However, God led my husband and I to pursue the idea of homeschooling. We have been homeschooling our own children from the beginning and have not regretted a day! We also teach in our elementary and jr. high programs at church. I taught for one year at Friday Addition…2nd-7th grade drama. I love it! I love learning new things and want to pass on that love to others. My goal in teaching my own children is to help them love learning and to be life-long students. We should never stop learning in this life on earth! God has given us minds to use and a whole world to explore!
I look forward to this year’s 2nd/3rd grade class! I’m excited to meet my new students and get them excited about US History, Geography and Music! It’s going to be an adventure!
