Support Staff

Emily has been a Support Teacher with FA since 2021. She enjoys connecting with students and staff, and helping students to succeed. She has been a homeschool teacher for her children for over eight years. Before getting married and having children, Emily was an art teacher at a public school and later at a private Montessori school, and has lots of experience with diverse learners. She enjoys reading, drawing, and painting in her (very rare) spare time.

She and her husband Fred and their four children live in Wyoming, MI. They enjoy reading, hiking, camping, biking and rollerblading and have been a part of the FA community since 2020.
